The Essex Senior Center is located in the heart of Essex, in Baltimore County, Maryland. Just one block off Eastern Avenue, It is home to a vibrant and active membership. The center provides educational, recreational, fitness and health opportunities for active seniors. The mission of the Essex Senior Center is to provide programs and activities developed and coordinated with other community agencies and organizations, which are appropriate for both active and health impaired senior citizens. The Center is a focal point for social interaction and fun. Programming strives to enhance physical and emotional well being, enable participants to access information and services, and provided opportunities for continued education personal and social growth, in a safe and friendly environment.
