JOIN THE FUN AT ESSEX SENIOR CENTER

Essex Senior Center has so much to keep seniors engaged, healthy and active and the best part is that membership is free! Membership is open to those 60 years of age and better and their spouse. You do not have to live in Baltimore County to be a member of the center. There are no dues or membership fees, but charges may apply for some individual classes, trips, parties, etc. It is Baltimore County Department of Aging's policy that all people who attend classes or programs at Essex Senior Center must register as a member each year. Our registration period is from October 1 - September 31. All members are asked to renew their membership each year to keep remain active. Drop in the center to complete a application for center membership.

Stop by today and take a tour. It takes about five minutes to complete the required registration form. We also ask our members to make a donation to the center's Enhancement Fund at the time of enrollment. The donation is optional and any amount is appreciated. Each year your donation helps fund a new enhancement project. With a donation of $15 or more we provide members with a free subscription to the Department of Aging's award-winning newspaper, Senior Digest, filled with informative and entertaining articles essential to older adults, including updates on Medicare and Social Security, travel opportunities, and senior center events.

A New Member Orientation is held every month and new members are encouraged to attend to learn more about the center, the services offered by Baltimore County Department of Aging and volunteer opportunities.

Essex Senior Center Council is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. All contributions to the center are tax deductible.
